USA Patriot Act
On September 11th, 2001 our lives changed forever when our country was attacked. In an effort to protect you and our country, President Bush signed the USA Patriot Act into law.

One section of the USA Patriot Act says that effective October 1, 2003, we must:

--Obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account (which includes Safe Deposit, Loans and Deposit Accounts).

--Compare identification with a government list of known or suspected terrorists.

What this means to you:

When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. In some cases, identification will be requested for those banking with us prior to October 1, 2003 because original documentation was not obtained with the opening of the account.

In all cases, protection of our customer’s identity and confidentiality is the Bank’s pledge to you.

We proudly support all efforts to protect and maintain the security of our customers and our country.
