Farmers & Merchants Bank was
incorporated as a Georgia banking corporation on February 4, 1948 for
the purpose of conducting a commercial banking business from Bulloch
County, Georgia.
The Bank offers a full range of deposit services including checking
accounts, savings accounts, and other time deposits of various types
ranging from daily money market accounts to longer-term certificates of
deposit. In addition, retirement accounts are insured by the Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation up to the maximum amount of $100,000.00.
The Bank also offers a full range of short to medium-term commercial,
agri-business and personal loans. Commercial loans include both secured
and unsecured loans for working capital (including inventory and
receivables), business expansion (including acquisition of real estate
and improvements) and purchase of equipment and machinery. Consumer
loans include secured and unsecured loans for financing automobiles,
home improvements, education, and personal investments. The Bank also
originates and holds fixed and variable mortgage loans and offers real
estate construction and acquisition loans. The Bank offers merchant card
services, including MasterCard and Visa services.
